Jane Duffy

After a career in university teaching and administration, Jane retired to Lewes, DE. Here, she renewed her interest in art by taking painting classes at Wilmington University and establishing relationships with fellow artists. When interpreting her favorite local scenes, she focuses on expressing them through the interplay of color and form. Much of the calm and balance captured in her paintings is inspired by local architecture and landscapes. Jane is a founding member of the Delaware Shore Artists Group and Le Petit Salon. She is also a member of the Rehoboth Art League and the Milton Arts Guild. Each year Jane displays her work at St. Peter’s Art Show in Lewes. Jane can be contacted at janeduffy7@gmail.com.
